resQdogs is a 100% volunteer-powered dog rescue and advocacy project of the Heal the World Initiative dedicated to rescuing homeless, abandoned, neglected, and at-risk dogs throughout California. Founded in Arroyo Grande and now serving both Arroyo Grande and Ridgecrest, we proudly support communities across San Luis Obispo County, Kern County, the Central Coast, the High Desert, and the surrounding cities. We have no paid employees—every rescue, transport, adoption, and outreach effort is made possible entirely through dedicated volunteers and generous community donations.
Our mission is to give every dog a second chance through rescue, foster care, adoption, education, and strong community partnerships. We collaborate with local shelters, rescue organizations, and volunteers to promote responsible pet ownership, encourage spay and neuter programs, and connect dogs with safe, loving forever homes.
Whether you choose to adopt, foster, volunteer, or donate, your support directly helps save lives and makes a lasting impact.
Join us in making a difference today—adopt a dog in need, open your home as a foster, become a volunteer, or make a donation to support our rescue efforts. Every action, big or small, helps give a dog a second chance at life.
